Demand Response and Optimal Market Position Tool

The Demand Response and Optimal Market Position Tool in the COMMUNITAS project supports citizens and energy communities in actively managing their electricity consumption and engaging with energy markets. The tool focuses on identifying energy flexibility at household and community level, enabling users to better understand how and when energy is consumed.

By analysing data from existing electricity meters through Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring, the tool characterises available flexibility without requiring additional devices. This allows communities to align energy use with renewable generation, storage availability and market conditions, supporting more efficient energy use and improved grid stability.
